I have been completely restless lately with all the cookie-cutter pop acts that have been making their way onto the music scene. In a time when any talentless diva can get her song played at a club or through the latest internet trend, it is truly refreshing when someone comes along that breaks that mold.
Behold Sariah. Hailing from Brookline, MA this talented artist truly is "music" to your ears. When I first heard this urban-pop songstress' newest release, "The Lethal EP", I was stunned. The beats were fun and original while the lyrics actually meant something! From start to finish, Sariah sings of today's love stories that anyone can relate to. The single "Hypnotic" is a get up and groove track that is sure to be a summer anthem, while the balled "Believe In Me" brings out a reality we all jface!
While I have not yet seen her perform live, I have heard only great stories of power packed and inspired performances. I will be sure to catch one of Sariah's performances in the northeast region this month.
I will definitely be the first in line for the full length album due out later this year.
