I don't think there is any point in mentioning the 6 overtime thriller that took place last night. I think it's more important to focus on the way the game last night ruined people's sleep patterns for the weekend.
I had missed the first two overtimes and received a text message about it. I was watching Stewart V. Cramer. Oddly enough, I still had 20 minutes of basketball to watch upon tuning in.
The game itself was a fantastic waste of time for both teams who are in the tournament regardless of the outcome. So for Syracuse to have players like Johnny Flynn logging 100 minutes in two games may seriously hamper any chance of Cuse winning the championship anyway. And for what? The chance to go up a seed or two? When people are that gassed, they run the risk of injury. Here's some facebook messages I've seen about the game. I'll let my friends finish this article for me
"Cuse!! Im glad I took the day off so I could actually stay up to see the finish."
"thinks that for all the times he says he's going to go the garden at watch the Big East, for once, he's actually pissed that he didn't go."

Anyways, UConn needed that win more than Cuse, it COULD cost a #1 seed for UConn
When they waved off Devendorf's 3 at the buzzer it became about pride, and the further into the game they went, the more about pride it became. It turned into a memorable game, and no team wanted to lose. If Cuse is smart they will lay down (they probably dont even have to) tonight. Imagine if they had to play Pitt tonight? They would lose by 30.
Go Cuse!
