TOStarting Sunday, Terrell Owens has an actual reason to show up at the Buffalo Bills organized team activities.  He not only brings his drama, but he is bringing a television crew with him as an added bonus.  "The Terrell Owens Project" will accompany him to Buffalo, NY.  Some may remember the critically acclaimed reality show "Fraternity Life" that was also filmed in Buffalo starring a group of douchebags kids that decided to start their own fraternity and exploit it to the MTV crowd.  Classy!  This one will strive to one up such a fantastic show  (remember kids, aim high!).  Taking a cue from classic television such as Rock of Love Bus, Daisy of Love, I Love Money, and New York Goes to Work, TO hops on the VH-1 Diva Train to "git him sum".

I have to admit, I am very torn on the whole TO to Buffalo thing.  I can see both sides of the coin here (similar to the Flutie vs Rob Johnson QB controversy).  VH1However, it will probably fail either way (similar to the Flutie vs Rob Johnson QB controversy).  The Buffalo Bills rumor mill has been constantly cranking out rumors of an inevitable team move to Toronto.  The spotlight desperately needs to be brought back to Buffalo.  In this regard, the move could be brilliant, or a colossal disaster.  The spotlight has already been on the Bills for the last 3 months.  This is the most media coverage in Buffalo since the Music City Miracle.  Judging from the reaction of my wife, the VH-1 series will be "sweet".  So, the VH-1 reality crowd will fix their eyes on Buffalo, NY for a bit.  I mean, what NFL team WOULDN'T want the VH-1 reality crowd?!?

Buffalo BillsTO is at a critical point in his career.  He is getting old, and his talent wont be there for many more years.  If he doesn't produce this season, his career will take an enormous hit.  I sincerely hope he realizes this.  The guy can play when he wants to, that's for sure.  Does he fit into the Bills offense?  Well, does he really 'fit' into any offense?  Trent Edwards doesn't have the most powerful arm in the league.  However they have the potential to be a pretty potent offense.  They have two very solid running backs with Lynch and Jackson.  Evans and Owens will split up the coverage, and provide 2 of the best targets in the league. Edwards has potential at QB, and has another year of experience under his belt.

The potential is there on both ends.  It can easily be a collosal failure, but an aging Ralph Wilson, a flirtation with Toronto, and an absense from the playoffs for a decade provides perhaps no reason NOT to roll the dice.  Good things could happen.  However, like most of the VH-1 reality shows, we could be watching yet another train wreck..... and the media loves those!

I like the idea! And it will definitely bring more attention to Buffalo. What is wrong with that?
