This past weekend the AC staff went on location to cover about 7 minutes of game time of the University of Florida's Orange and Blue spring game. Sorry for the hiatus, but we had important work to do. It is amazing to me that since there was a football practice going on, people were allowed to openly consume alcohol on University grounds, or atleast it was ignored by Johnny Law.
ESPN hires Matt Millen. A man who had less professional sports management experience than I do, and was hired to plow the Detroit Lions into the ground has been hired (hopefully not at a management level). Let the good times roll.
So does whoever is now in charge of the Arena Football League actually beleive that the AFL is coming back in 2010? If you are not up on the news, the league cancelled their 2009 season, claimed they were going to restructure the business model and come back in 2010. Now they have lost multiple teams and commissioners. I'm glad I got out of that industry and into the unemployment biz.
Happy trails Susan Boyle, you have been outshined by a younger, cuter singer.
Zombie Strippers made its television debut last night.
The Madden "curse" now will affect Frank Calliendo, although he certainly disagrees.
