baconThis installment of gluttony of the week is an Armchair Culture original, The Magical Mastery of Mixed Meats.  Named by a friend of Armchair Culture, and created by Lab Boy this delicious meaty meal consisted of 9 pounds of meat with 1 pound of cheese.  Here is the recipe...

Lab Boy's Magical Mastery of Mixed Meats
2.5 pound flank steak fileted in half and filled with...
1 pound ground beef layer
1 pound italian sausage
1 pound ground pork layer
1  pound bratwurst
1 pound ground spicy italian sausage layer
1 pound cheddar cheese intermingled
all folded inside the flank steak and wrapped in 1.5 pounds of a thick sliced bacon weave

Combine ingredients as described.  Grill for many many hours over low heat.  While Magical Mastery of Mixed Meats is grilling succumb to peer pressure from LWN and THRILLHO to consume large amounts of adult beverages while placing monetary wagers on who can funnel or pound beverages faster.  Take The Magical Mastery of Mixed Meats off grill.  Slice The Magical Mastery of Mixed Meats, and be too intoxicated to remember to take pictues of the dish sliced.  Eat The Magical Mastery of Mixed Meats.  Wait for heart burn/heart attack/constipation/high blood pressure/females-to-say-they-can't-beleive-you-are-actually-eating-that.

THRILLHO
we ate most of it. once we went to the game, it looked like a carcass that vultures picked apart. there was some left when we finished, but not much. it came out good, the tough part about it is its way easy to overcook the bacon because it takes forever to make sure the insides are all cooked.
