I just returned from Sin City where I attended an annual Geographers conference (AAG) (make nerd joke reference now). However, I was saddened upon my return to Vegas because I appeared to have entered the land of fermented yellow water. I was in Vegas several years ago and was able to sample some high quality western suds, but my stay on the strip this year afforded me little opportunity to do so. I'm sure there are some hiqh quality places to get some great beers, but nothing was within walking distance of the strip. The best beer of the week - Fat Tire, not bad, but in my mind over-rated. So, I succumbed to a week of imbibing macro-produced yellow liquid lagers.....
